The Thaiairways 747 taxis to the runway at 0:50 on the dot.<\/p>\n

The flight takes 12 hours. In total, we are on the road for 17 hours from door to door. In Bangkok, you should definitely allow 2 hours for check-in time. That’s how long it takes to get through all the queues and finally arrive at the boarding gate.<\/p>\n

We have decided to make a note of a few things that we want to bear in mind next time:<\/p>\n

not to go on vacation in Thailand during the Chinese New Year (this certainly also applies to other Asian countries)
\nnot to visit the Grand Palace in Bangkok after a public holiday (suddenly everyone wants to go there)
\nnever go to Patong again. The beach was so filthy and it stank like a sewer
\nIn Hua Hin you should definitely look for a beach hotel that really has its own sun loungers on the beach. Preferably a bit outside the center.<\/p>\n
